We are committed to bringing you a fresh and unique perspective on the Pittsburgh region, with a focus on celebrating the people and neighborhoods that make this such a great place to live, work and play.

Our goal is to become your “in addition to” resource for keeping up with local news and events. While traditional news outlets follow the “if it bleeds it leads” mantra, or focus on small niche groups of people, we want to be more of a Pittsburgh magazine-blog-hybrid online that can focus on the news and happenings which deserve and drive our Pittsburgh pride.

This does not mean we will sugar-coat stories or ignore the serious and often scary realities facing our region. We simply won’t trade a focus on the negatives for ratings or readership levels.

Our commitment isn’t to sensationalizing what’s wrong in the region, but rather celebrating what’s right.
